Privacy Policy

A straightforward explanation of how information moves through AiOps and the safeguards applied to it.

Effective July 18, 2026
01

Information We Process

AiOps processes Crisp message content, conversation identifiers, workspace configuration, and related operational data received through authorized webhooks or API connections. We process this information only as needed to provide AI-assisted customer support and related service functionality.

02

How We Use Information

Message content may be used to generate responses, retrieve relevant support knowledge, route conversations, monitor service quality, and support human handoff. We do not use customer message content to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell personal data.

03

AI and Third-Party Processing

To generate a response, relevant message content and context may be securely transmitted to OpenAI or another AI provider selected by the workspace owner. Crisp and connected AI providers process information under their own privacy terms, security practices, and data-processing arrangements.

04

Storage and Retention

AiOps is designed to minimize retention of message content. Limited information may be retained temporarily for conversation continuity, reliability, abuse prevention, support, and knowledge workflows. Workspace owners remain responsible for configuring integrations and retention practices appropriate to their legal and operational requirements.

05

Data Sharing

We disclose information only to service providers required to operate AiOps, when directed by the workspace owner, or when required by law. We do not rent or sell personal information to third parties.

06

Security

We use standard technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information in transit and at rest, including encrypted network transport, restricted credential handling, access controls, and operational monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

07

API Keys and Credentials

Connected API credentials are used solely to authenticate requests to the services selected by the workspace owner. Workspace owners are responsible for limiting key permissions, rotating compromised credentials, and removing access when an integration is no longer required.

08

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal information. End users should generally direct requests to the organization operating the relevant Crisp workspace, which controls the customer relationship and message data.

09

International Processing

Connected providers may process data in countries other than the country where it was collected. Workspace owners should review provider locations and contractual safeguards before enabling an integration.

10

Policy Updates

We may update this policy as AiOps, its integrations, or applicable requirements change. The latest version will remain available on this page, and the effective date will be updated when material revisions are published.
